Job Description
Addison Group’s client is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team in Washington, DC! The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of previous in-house law department experience. The pay rate for this role begins at $23/hour.
Job Description:
• Schedule and prepare for internal and external meetings with partners, subcontractors, outside counsel, etc.
• Manage task lists of all in-house attorneys and company executives
• Record meeting action items
• Compose basic correspondence via email and hard copy
• Assist with contract lifecycle management
• Accurately populate template-based contracts
• Create, organize, and manage legal files, binders, and spreadsheets in our database
• Analyze and recommend operating practices of the Legal Department
• Appropriately save incoming legal documents
• Develop spreadsheets and reports for special projects
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience required
• Previous experience working with C-Suite Level executives
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paces environment and meet strict deadlines
• Must have impeccable communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must be motivated, proactive, and professional
