THE POSITION:

Goldberg Segalla LLP, a national law firm with more than 20 offices in 10 states, has an immediate opportunity for a Toxic Tort/Environmental Associate to join our California practice.

Our team of over 50 exceptional Toxic Tort attorneys includes veteran toxic tort litigators, nationally recognized rising stars, and thought leaders with deep backgrounds in emerging toxic tort trends. With the ability to defend cases and advise clients across our national footprint, we’ve built a reputation for precedent-setting victories over aggressive plaintiff lawyers in some of the country’s toughest judicial jurisdictions — but also for developing cost-effective litigation management strategies to meet each client’s goals. Goldberg Segalla’s Toxic Tort team represents a diverse array of over 100 prominent clients in thousands of cases pending around the country. Flexible, collaborative, and efficient, our attorneys are equally equipped to serve as local, regional, or national counsel in complex, high-value toxic torts.

Goldberg Segalla’s environmental lawyers’ number one priority is to provide sound, strategic solutions to the problems and challenges our clients face. Our practice encompasses the full spectrum of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations and their impact on real estate, business and lending transactions, and business operations. We offer services ranging from regulatory compliance counseling to crisis response and the management of environmental liabilities in corporate, real estate, and financial transactions.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of experience in Toxic Tort/Environmental Law. Qualified candidates will have litigation experience that includes taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations and trial. The ideal candidate writes effectively and thinks strategically. Candidates must be admiitted to practice in California.

THE BENEFITS:

The annualized salary range for this position is $85,000-$165,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses and a full benefits package.
