Litigation Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Litigation Paralegal for one of our clients in the Eugene, OR area. The Litigation Paralegal will work on a variety of cases, including Personal Injury, Family Law, and contested Elder Law cases. The Litigation Paralegal will assist multiple attorneys with drafting motions, summarizing depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, and trial prep. Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation
• Respond to client emails and phone calls
• Emails and phone calls to opposing counsel
• Schedule meetings, phone calls, and depositions with clients and opposing counsel
• File legal documents
• Draft legal documents including motions, orders, and pleadings
• Propound, organize, and respond to discovery
• Meet with clients to organize discovery documents
• Summarize depositions
• Work with Attorneys on tight deadlines
Skills/Experience
• Great multi-tasking skills
• Ability to stay organized while in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Professional and personal demeanor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with fast-paced litigation work preferred
• Ability to work well with a team and independently
• Salary
• $55,000 to $66,000 USD annually
Hours:
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
