Saint Vincent College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position with a flexible start date. The position requires a doctorate and a proven background in Criminology, Law, and Society (CLS).

Saint Vincent College offers Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in Criminology, Law, and Society. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) in Criminology, Law, Criminal Justice, or related field. The candidate will teach courses supporting the CLS program, advise students, and maintain an active program of scholarship in Criminology, Law, and Society. We are seeking outstanding candidates who exhibit a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and continuing scholarly activity in addition to building positive relationships with colleagues and students. The successful candidate will teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses that support the CLS program based on their background, supervise student projects, advise majors, and develop a research program that engages students. The standard teaching load is 24 credit hours per year. Service to the department and college is expected. Excellent communication skills are required. Successful candidates will have expertise in any topic related to criminology, law, and society.

Compensation is competitive.
