ResponsibilitiesIntellectual Property Paralegal will assist in the preparation, filing, and maintenance of domestic patents/applicationsDocketing (preference for candidates with experience with CPI)Prepare filing transmittals for all U.S. filingsGenerate correspondence with clientsFollow-up calls to PTORespond to attorney requestsKeep accurate time recordsRequirements3+ years of IP/ Patent Prosecution experience Strong computer and organizational skillsAble to work independently as well as in a team environmentExcellent understanding of patent processesAbility to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and completes them under time constraintsAbility to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, or spelling errorsInterpersonal skills are necessary in order to communicate in person, by e-mail, and by telephone and follow the instruction effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact
