The Marketing Department of Arnold & Porter has an opening for a Marketing Operations Specialist in the Washington, DC office. The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for the support of the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, including facilitating the smooth administrative functioning of the team and the Department's interaction with other resources in the firm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Working closely with the Marketing Directors to develop and monitor the Marketing Department budget and manage the monthly variance reporting.
• Working with the Director of Business Development to facilitate development of firm-wide Business Development budgets and communicate annual allocations.
• Supporting the budget and expense approval process as a resource for expense coding and budgeting.
• Working closely with Marketing Directors to manage the administrative requirements for technology implementations, strategic projects and initiatives (i.e., MS Teams, LinkedIn Learning, Power-User, etc.)
• Coordinating orientation and integration of the Marketing team staff firm-wide.
• Creating and maintaining Department organizational charts, job descriptions and job postings.
• Interfacing with administration on Marketing Department space and equipment requirements.
• Coordinating the Marketing Department resources around new Arnold & Porter office openings.
• Managing and facilitating relationships with Marketing vendors; including photographers, videographers and others as needed across firm-wide offices.
• Working with the Operations Assistant to oversee and arrange photography sessions in firm offices as needed.
• Working with the firm and Marketing Department resources to implement special projects (i.e., Arnold & Porter History project).
• Managing the compliance of the Marketing Department contracts with HBR Consulting and other relevant departments.
• Managing and updating the Marketing Department Intranet pages.
• Facilitating Marketing Department Policy and Procedure documentation and communication.
• Planning Marketing Department meetings, retreats, social gatherings and celebrations of significant milestone moments for our team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of six years of marketing communications or related business management required (in the professional services area desired.)
• Previous law firm marketing experience a significant plus.
• Strong computer skills; preferred proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Expert in managing, analyzing and reporting in Excel.
• Experienced user of PowerPoint to create reports, organizational charts and graphs.
• Demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Exceptional judgment, flexibility and professionalism, and the ability to lead effectively while being a team player.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident and comfortable working with senior administrative management of the firm.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments.
• Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines and managing budgets.
