• The College of Business and Administration at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of
• from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made.
• Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
• This position will teach Sport Law and possibly other sport management classes.
• Examples of courses include the following: Sport Law and other sport management classes as needed.
• Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid.

• This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

• 3,000 - $5,000 per 3-credit hour course.
• Pay rate is dependent upon (a) the number of courses taught, (b) the type of courses taught (e.g. undergraduate, graduate), and (c) the education level held by the lecturer.
• Temporary Lecturer appointments are not eligible for group health and life insurance benefits or vacation leave accrual.
• This position is eligible for paid sick leave.

• Prior and relevant teaching experience.
• Ability or interest in teaching online classes.
• Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move.
• Employee is occasionally required to have long periods of sitting, moderate bending, and fine motor skills.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
