About the Team: Our Global Legal team provides key support for all TikTok’s innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global video market. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support. The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright and capable legal professionals to join the team. One of the critical challenges is the need for our team to provide exceptional legal support for litigation matters involving TikTok. The ideal candidate will be a real team player, with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities: - Work closely with in-house litigation counsel and e-discovery team members on general litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, and related matters. - Lead the legal hold process across global litigation and regulatory matters; be the main point of contact for the legal hold software vendor. - Working closely with internal e-discovery team members, manage the collection, processing, review, and production of both electronically stored information (ESI) and tangible information - Serve as a liaison between the legal team, security, engineering, IT personnel, system admins, records management personnel and also outside counsel and vendor - Coordinate case management tasks, ensure compliance with litigation holds, protective orders, and e-discovery requirements - Support attorneys with management of discovery including assisting with custodian interviews, managing document collection, and working with outside counsel e-discovery teams for processing and production. - Supervise Service of Process and legal mail, ensure all documents are routed to the appropriate stakeholders - Produce monthly reports as well as reporting metrics on the litigation, pre-litigation, and regulatory docket - Research and organize factual information and technical data; develop chronologies, reports, tables, graphics, and other visual aids - Track case deadlines, report docket updates, and maintain a litigation calendar - Legal research, including retrieving legal documents from agencies, libraries, and internet sources. Qualifications Qualifications - 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience - BA/BS or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred - Strong computer proficiency and experience with document review technology and workflow - End user and administrator understanding of eDiscovery technology (specific experience with Exterro is a plus). - A thorough understanding of discovery procedures and familiarity with ESI tools - Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail - Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills - Experience working in an eDiscovery or litigation support environment including knowledge of the litigation process and knowledge of electronic data collection and production. - Ability to handle a varied workload and prioritize as needed. - Familiarity with technology and comfortable learning new technology - Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Job Information: 【For NYC】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in New York City is $76533 - $188000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, restricted stock units, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements / Qualifications
