Marketing Manager - Intellectual Property & Life Sciences at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP

Your responsibilities will include leading all marketing initiatives for our IP and Life Sciences teams, including the development of marketing and business development plans and the day to day execution of plan deliverables. Your deliverables will include development of compelling marketing collateral (articles, client alerts, ad copy, press releases, brochures and website copy), social media strategy and execution, and event ideation, planning and execution. Procopio is a leading western US law firm, providing legal support and best-in-class service to its client in the US and around the globe. We are seeking a candidate who brings significant relevant experience and can hit the ground running. This position will be a key member of Procopio's marketing and business development team, working closely with the team's leader and members of our events and communication teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns for the IP and Life Sciences practice groups
• Manage and implement social media strategy, as well as broader PR and communications, including ad development and placement, sponsorships, marketing collateral generation, event management (seminars, networking/social), website updates, etc.
• Develop and optimize relationships with relevant industry associations and organizations
• Work with your lawyers and the Marketing & BD team to identify opportunities to expand client relationships, advise partners and teams on new business opportunities, and prepare compelling pitches and respond to requests for proposals on behalf of the groups.

Ideal Qualifications
• 7+ years of marketing and business development experience required, preferably in the legal services sector.
• Experience in the intellectual property space and, or Life Sciences sector is highly desirable.
• Experience with InDesign and other design software tools is highly desirable.

Procopio offers generous total compensation packages. Typical pay range for this role is from $95,000 - $125,000 depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.
