Wood & Long, LLC was founded in 2014 with a focus in family law. They assist clients who are navigating the legal issues of divorce, dissolution, legal separation, child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal support, and other family law matters. Although family law and divorce can be contentious and straining at times, nothing compares to knowing you helped your client resolve highly personal and family issues in a manner that will allow them to move forward in their lives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood & Long, LLC is seeking to hire a full time associate attorney to join their firm located in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate should feel passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. The associate attorney will be drafting legal pleadings and discovery, attending court, meeting with potential new clients, communicating and meeting with current clients, and conducting legal research.
This would be great opportunity for anyone recently admitted to the bar or looking to change their area of focus to family law.
QUALIFICATIONS
• J.D. and current Ohio Bar license (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience practicing family law (preferred)
