Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an experienced attorney to join its highly ranked globally recognized Environmental and Climate Change practice group as a non-partnership track attorney based in our Washington, DC. An attorney in this position will be benefits eligible and will generally have an expected billable hour goal of between 1200 – 1800 hours, with the specific expectation aligned with the qualified applicant's career objectives. This is a great opportunity for an experienced attorney to work on high-profile and cutting-edge matters in the context of a reduced workload arrangement. A flexible work location arrangement is possible for the right candidate.
- Direct client contact
- Assisting with the management of matters and client relationships
- Mentoring junior attorneys
Requirements / Qualifications
Six years of US or international experience with environmental, natural resource, climate change, product stewardship and/or sustainability matters
Have experience with those issues in multiple contexts, including compliance counseling, obtaining regulatory authorizations, agency rulemaking, facility and corporate audits, supply chain due diligence, citizen suits, enforcement defense or litigation.
Active membership in the DC or bar
