Job Description

USC Gould School of Law is seeking a part‐time lecturer to teach LAW‐602 Criminal Procedure (3 units) to our master’s students during the Spring 2022 semester, which runs from January to May 2022. Criminal Procedure examines the methods by which the criminal justice system functions.

Topic areas will include the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments to the United States Constitution, including topics such as the arrests of criminal suspects, the search of persons, computers, houses and cars, the interrogation of suspects, the right to counsel, the use of police lineups, the exclusionary rule, and grand jury and trial proceedings. The course is designed to help students pass the criminal procedure section of the bar examination.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Candidates should have strong legal professional backgrounds with teaching excellence in the subject area
