Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) seeks an Immigration Counsel to work on a variety of issues that fall under the Judiciary Committee’s jurisdiction, with a special emphasis on immigration, immigration enforcement, and related issues relevant to the Judiciary Committee. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: developing, monitoring, and managing legislation; coalition building; preparing for hearings; and writing memos and talking points. Interested applicants must have a record of being proactive and demonstrating initiative. The position requires strategic thinking, the ability to work independently as well as within a team, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
A law degree and experience in immigration law or policy is required. Hill experience, particularly in the Senate, is a plus.
