Job Description
Addison Group’s client is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their team in Washington DC! The pay-rate is $25-31/hour. This is a contract-to-hire position. This position currently hybrid. Apply to work for an excellent organization!
Responsibilities:
• Support legal functions interfacing with business and legal matters
• Help implement and design contract management solutions
• Assist with hiring and training paralegals or contract administrators as part of an overall support team
• Assist in the formation, maintenance and dissolution of corporate entities
• Assist with closing out contracts
• Assist with strategic planning for legal function, including budgeting, selecting and managing outside vendors, etc.
• Prepare organizational documents
• Coordinate closings and prepare related documents
• Prepare legal opinions and assemble opinion back- ups
• Provide training to junior paralegals
• Other tasks as assigned or required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Paralegal certificate required
• 5-10 years of paralegal experience
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
• Strong research and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Maintain cordial and effective relationships with clients
• Work effectively with a wide variety of teammates
