Patent Associate or Patent Agent at LHH

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working closely with our client, a prestigious boutique firm in Orange County, CA, on a search for a Patent Associate or Patent Agent who has a background in life sciences. The firm has a robust and dynamic Intellectual Property practice. You will immediately have the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients on complex matters in a collegial and collaborative environment that will allow you to grow your skillset. The firm is truly a lifestyle firm and has a low billable hour requirement.

We would love to hear from you if you:

· Have at least 2 years of experience handling patent prosecution matters in a law firm or corporate legal department

· Have experience drafting patent applications and Office Action Responses, particularly in the cell cancer therapies, specific cell biology, immune biology, molecular biology, and/or immunology spaces. Experience with the medical device, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industries is also valued.

Job requirements:

· Undergraduate or advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or related field

· USPTO registration

· For attorneys, J.D. degree, and licensed and in good standing in any jurisdiction
