Our client, a globally recognized law firm with offices throughout the world, has an immediate need for an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney, at the Partner level to join our winning team in Orlando.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFCATIONS:
• Must be and remain licensed to practice Law and in good standing in Florida.
• Should have at least 5-7 years of prior associate-level experience with substantial familiarity with the Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills, and an ability to learn new substantive legal topics and industry trends as needed or required
• Ability to coordinate the drafting and preparation of essential pleadings and filings, including first day motions, DIP financing and cash collateral orders and motions, sale motions and plan/disclosure statement documents
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, federal and state court practice, both statutory and local rules
• Bankruptcy court clerkship appreciated.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and matter management skills
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with clients, partners, associates and support staff
• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
• Familiarity with bankruptcy, federal and state court procedural rules and practices
• Clear and effective drafting skills
