Editor In Chief at Sherrod Sports Visas
Job Description
Oakhurst Legal Group d/b/a Sherrod Sports Visas seeks an Editor in Chief. This position is flexible from contract, part-time to full-time. It is important to get the right person because precise language is critical. We are looking for a detailed oriented person with excellent writing skills to help us produce some of the best P-1, O-1, and EB-1A petitions in the nation.
We specialize in problem-solving for some of the world’s best athletes & entertainers, high stakes civil rights cases, & trademarks in trendy industries. Our sports clients range from professional football players to some of the best boxers in the world. Our community based practice focuses on criminal and civil rights law for high profile cases. Our trademark practice focuses on emerging industries such as social entrepreneurs and cannabis enterprises.
Past and current clients include UFC Fighters, World Champions (Canelo Alvarez & Tyson Fury, NFL Players, Snoop Youth Football League, Las Vegas Golden Knights NHL Team, Obaika NASCAR Team, World of Outlaws Dirt Track Teams, countless Olympians, and more.
The Editor in Chief Position is critical to the operation process of our immigration practice. We have a team of writers which the Editor in Chief will check for accuracy and efficiency. There is a precise system in place for reviewing our petitions that keep everything streamlined. The Editor in Chief will check documents before they are submitted to check for spelling, grammar, punctuation errors, improve sentence structure and readability. There will also be occasional drafting of petitions and supporting documents involved as well.
This position is perfect for retirees looking for an exciting side opportunity. We are willing to help the right candidate set up an LLC if receiving payment is more beneficial in this structure. This position does require in office participation but can evolve to mostly remote once a system is established.
