Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, a transatlantic law firm with more than 1,000 lawyers based in 30 US and UK office locations, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid in-office presence.
The Marketing Coordinator will support the implementation of the firm's strategic marketing and communications plans and take on projects of increasing complexity as knowledge of the firm, its practices, and attorneys develops. The successful candidate must be a quick learner and self-starter with the ability to multitask and maintain accuracy and consistency while handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Support the daily operations of the firm-wide Marketing team through various administrative functions, including scheduling department meetings, managing the weekly credit card reconciliation process, submitting invoices for payment into Chrome River, etc.
• Utilize media monitoring software to compile daily media reporting of the firm's placements and mentions in national, trade, and regional outlets.
• Draft, edit, and proofread client alerts, newsletters, blogs, announcements, and other collateral materials supporting the firm's marketing initiatives.
• Support the firm's Honors and Awards program, including helping develop workflows, maintaining a centralized database of awards, rankings, and recognitions, and maintaining a calendar of upcoming recognition publications.
• Conduct competitive research and analysis in support of various strategic marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing professionals throughout the firm, including the Business Development, Creative, Digital, Events, Pursuits, and Research teams, across administrative functions on an as-needed basis.
• Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience, preferably within a professional services organization.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working independently and within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of and experience with office procedures, systems, and protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Office) applications, including Word, Excel, etc.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a marketing or business-related field.
