Position Summary
As a member of the Firmwide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, the DE&I Talent Development Analyst enables business growth and a high-performing organizational culture by implementing end-to-end talent programs and initiatives to grow and retain a diverse pipeline of top talent at Reed Smith. The DE&I Talent Development Analyst is primarily responsible for developing and overseeing DE&I pipeline and leadership programs for all attorneys and professional staff.
This role works collaboratively and seamlessly with resources across the DE&I channels and other departments in areas such as: RSU/Learning & Development, HR, Legal Recruiting, Alumni Engagement, Events Planning, and Marketing & Communications

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute programming for the DE&I Leadership Development program to achieve business growth plans and enable a high-performing and inclusive climate
- Oversee development initiatives by implementing and leveraging talent practices (e.g., talent assessment, competencies development, organization design and effectiveness, etc.)
- Develop and execute Firmwide/Global DEI programming including professional staff training series and other professional development opportunities for attorneys and professional staff
- Present to SMT and Talent committee on the diverse talent pipeline at RS and provide timely updates on other DEI programming
- Establish and control the budget for the Leadership Development program
- Control the talent pipeline fund and approve applications from diverse talent to use funding for professional development activities
- Assist with the administration of the overall DEI department budget
- Continuously improve our consultation services with high caliber clients by developing content, facilitating trainings, etc
- Design DEI core competencies for attorneys and professional staff for annual performance evaluation
- Research and assess KPI’s for diversity programming firm wide
- Collaborate with RSU/L&D and Human Resources to facilitate and implement professional growth, leadership development, talent planning and reviews, performance management processes to successfully manage and promote diverse talent
- Support the development and execution of DE&I and inclusive leadership training efforts
- Advance and improve inclusion and diversity strategies, practices and processes to increase employee engagement and retention
- Recognize and track gaps or common issues faced by employees and propose/crease solution based programming to address
- Aid in the professional development of DEI core team members
