Evolver Legal Services is seeking a General Paralegal - MID to support client and work at a Law Enforcement Agency in Clarksburg, WV.

ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE is REQUIRED
The General Paralegal provides professional, accurate, timely and reliable paralegal support reporting to the OGC-LITB and detailed to assist the litigating section.
In particular, the General Paralegal will support the missions of the ELUs and CLUs.

Work products are reviewed prior to submission; however, the General Paralegal will develop these products with minimal direct supervision other than written guidelines.
The General Paralegal Task includes but is not limited to the following:
Receive, prioritize, and process requests such as document review or requests for advice or legal technical assistance;
Research and locate responsive information and identify relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles;
Perform typical Paralegal functions, including moderately complex legal research; synopsizing transcripts of hearings and oral arguments for attorney use; reviewing case related materials; and identifying potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further investigation;
Write preliminary drafts of legal memoranda and correspondence;

Assist in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, exhibits, etc.; conducting legal analysis, reviewing documents for relevance and privilege; and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation.

Requirements:
• Two or more years of litigation paralegal experience with trial experience.
