Job Description
Reputable plaintiff's civil litigation law firm seeking a law and motion attorney. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in motion practice, including experience drafting and arguing motions in both state and federal courts.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft, research, and prepare motions including ex parte motions and motions for summary judgement.
- Argue motions before state and federal courts.
- Opportunity to work and argue in appellate court
- Collaborate with other attorneys to discuss case strategy.
- Stay current with California Code of Civil Procedure.
Requirements / Qualifications

J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the State Bar of California.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in law and motion practice.

Strong research and writing skills.

Experience with electronic filing in state and federal courts.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
