Job Description

Working under the direct supervision of the International Paralegal Manager, the International Corporate Paralegal is responsible for supporting the legal department with respect to a broad range of corporate legal, transactional, and administrative matters to support Meta affiliates operations across North America and Latin America. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in corporate entity lifecycle management, maintenance of corporate records, corporate policy implementation, and supporting complex transactions and business initiatives. Must possess excellent judgment, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize a dynamic workload and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Must also possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate entity lifecycle, including formation, maintenance and dissolutions
  • Provide corporate support for business transactions and initiatives including working cross functionally with product, real estate, infrastructure, and immigration and HR teams
  • Support the finance department with various matters including capital contributions, inter-company transactions, and bank account management
  • Collaborate with the Affiliate Compliance Team to maintain the entity management system and corporate records of international group companies in NORAM and LATAM
  • Perform administrative duties such as distributing documents for signature, maintaining a record of legal and policy documentation, legal vendor management and billing
  • Assist with the implementation of various process improvements initiatives

Requirements / Qualifications

  • College degree and paralegal certificate

  • 5+ years of experience as an in-house paralegal

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Communication skills and experience effectively communicating and interacting with senior management

  • Experience with database management

  • Experience supporting multinational companies with international business operations

  • Experience with corporate entity filings, transactions and governance

  • Experience adapting to change, working well under pressure and handling multiple time sensitive obligations
