Cohen Milstein s Washington, DC office seeks a paralegal/research assistant to support attorneys in the Human Rights Practice Group. The Human Rights/Human Trafficking Group represents victims of torture, forced labor, human trafficking, and other violations of international law. - Factual and legal research;
- Writing memoranda;

Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree;
Demonstrated interest in law, human rights, or both;
An understanding of, and willingness to learn about, basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures;
A proactive nature;
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
Strong writing and analytical skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience with legal research tools, such as Lexis/Nexis or Westlaw is a plus;
Foreign language skills are also a plus.
