Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s specialist international employment law practice has an exciting career opportunity for a 2- to 4-year associate in its team in New York.
As an Associate in the Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking legal projects in a team-based environment.

Requirements / Qualifications
2-4 years of employment law advice and counseling experience with either a general practice firm or boutique labor and employment firm; transactional experience in the employment space is a strong plus
A demonstrated interest in developing an expertise in international employment law
Highly creative problem-solving skills
A strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit that demonstrates an interest in contributing to the overall success of the practice and the firm
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
Highly effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated record of successfully managing multiple client relationships, matters and deadlines with minimal to moderate supervision
Strong academic credentials from an accredited U.S. law school as well as strong professional references
Active and good standing status to practice law in New York
Secondary qualification in a jurisdiction outside the U.S.
Prior experience with international employment advice and counseling
Prior experience with M&A transactions
