Senior Trial Attorney (Remote) at United States Attorneys' Offices

We are a commercial litigation and corporate boutique remote law firm representing business owners across a wide spectrum of areas; fashion, fintech, physicians, start-ups etc.

Our matters are interesting and complex, sometimes venturing into the cryptocurrency/blockchain space, with a bent towards filings in State and Federal Court. We also have matters pending in mediation and arbitration and tend to delve into international dispute resolution.

We are seeking an experienced litigation counsel (8+ years of experience in litigation practice) who can independently handle day-to-day responsibilities of a case. This includes opening a file, preparing demand letters, engaging in research and writing, oral argument, discovery, pleadings preparation, depositions etc. and working up a case from its inception up and through trial.
IMPORTANT* Please only apply if you have commercial litigation experience representing small business and individuals - including but not limited to matters arising out of breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, dissolution actions (for partnerships/private companies), tortious interference with contract etc. We are not a class action law firm - experience representing business owners in commercial disputes is a prerequisite to consideration.

This position will afford you the opportunity to work directly with the owner, and other staff members, of the law firm - it will also require the desire and/or ability to communicate directly with clients, make judgment-based decisions about direction and strategy (with the advice/consent of the owner early-on) and will, over a relatively short period of time, require a willingness to take the lead on, e.g., oral arguments and depositions as they arise.

While we are primarily a litigation-oriented firm, experience in transactional work is a plus, especially with creating/editing general business contracts (operating agreements, employment contracts etc.) for our small-business clients.

This is primarily a remote opportunity with occasional in-person meetings and/or in-person attendance for court, depositions, etc.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000, based on experience and capabilities. Bonus incentive structure provided.
