Job Description

Groom Law Group is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the department’s administrative needs, coordinating the day-to-day marketing operations and serving as a liaison to the Firm's internal and external clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operations of marketing, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Assist with coordination of awards, legal directories calendar and process management
  • Collect information and prepare drafts for legal directories and awards submissions
  • Draft and update attorney biographies, firm news, announcements and external publications on the website
  • Monitor and update analytics on website activities
  • Provide support in collecting information for, drafting and tracking RFPs
  • Provide data quality, training and general support for CRM
  • Assist with the design, implementation and managing of firm campaigns
  • Maintain practice marketing materials and collateral
  • Update and maintain Firm’s client contact list
  • Assist with reporting of the Firm, marketing and business development activities
  • Participate in regular marketing and business development team discussions to facilitate cross-department knowledge sharing and identification of best practices
  • Responsible for tracking invoices and expenses against budget related to marketing
  • Perform other assignments as needed to assist the Marketing Department as a team in delivering superior service

Requirements / Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required; Marketing, Communications or related field preferred

  • 1 – 3 years previous Marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Administrative and clerical skills

  • Experience with Vuture is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple assignments; strong organizational skills

  • Customer/Client focused

  • Creative and technology savvy
