Job Responsibilities

  • Provide complex administrative assistant support to law school faculty, staff and 15-30 adjunct faculty each semester
  • Work effectively with faculty and staff on confidential administrative assistant functions
  • Interact with administrators, faculty and staff in the School of Law as well as the entire St. Thomas community
  • Needs to comply with professional ethical standards, particularly confidential information
  • Provides backup support to other staff in the School of Law

Requirements / Qualifications

  • High school education or the equivalent

  • Three years of administrative support experience

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason

  • Standard office practices and procedures, including filing and the operation of standard office equipment; business letter writing and the standard format for typed materials

  • Knowledge of: Business arithmetic
