The Office of Career Development and Public Service at Boston University School of Law seeks a Graduate Career Advisor to join our team of talented JD Career Advisors. This position presents a rewarding opportunity to help new law school graduates begin their legal career.
This is a temporary position, funded by the Provost's office for 3 years. Position may be extended if funding allows.

- Be responsible for assisting each job seeker by establishing a trusted relationship, advising on job search strategies, sending job opportunities that match the job seeker’s desired career interests and geographic location, and connecting the job seeker to alumni local to the job seeker’s desired job market.
- Gather all of the ABA’s required key elements of employment to update the graduate employment survey once each job seeker secures employment.
- Be responsible for improving the employment outcomes for job seekers in the graduating class.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the department manager.
Requirements / Qualifications
JD degree and 3-5 years of experience required.
Some experience in law student career advising and/or hiring of new lawyers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.
Experience in law student career advising and/or hiring of new lawyers preferred.
