Job Description

Serves as the customer proxy on the Agile team, articulates and prioritizes the stories in the team backlog. Responsible for accepting the stories as part of the team Definition of Done prior to release.

Advanced professional role that orchestrates the coordination of activities for one or more agile teams focused on the delivery of value for one (1) complex product or multiple products. Responsible for delivering results; may include analysis, research, documentation, and prioritization of work. Receives assignments in the form of a backlog with the objective to achieve goals. Works under little to no supervision and exercises independent judgment. Provides guidance to team members within latitude of established departmental policies and standards. Recommends and influences changes to procedures affecting team. Mentors junior members of the team. Follows established processes and best practices in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Senior advisor to team members in understanding priorities and strategic direction. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning products and/or clients. Monitors and influences the delivery of value including product revenue and profitability through client relations, sales and marketing, IT, client services, product support and/or professional services organizations. Typically requires greater than (5) years of Agile product owner, business, technical analysis, or consulting experience. Mortgage, Financial or SaaS domain or other equivalent experience preferred.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range is $77,340 to $106,340. Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in Lean-Agile development
  • Work with Agile Team to clearly communicate requirements outlined in User Story and Acceptance Criteria
  • Proficiency in defining User Story acceptance criteria using GWT format (Behavior-Driven Development)
  • Manage and refine Team backlog; identify and manage dependencies
  • Gather and analyze information from multiple sources
  • Work with Agile Team to ensure User Stories meet Definition(s) of Ready and Done
  • Ensure stories are delivering expected quality and value
  • Lead user story mapping sessions
  • Decompose Features into User Stories that clearly articulate the "why" and "what" needs to be completed
  • Participates in large group planning sessions and coordinates work with other Product Owners
  • Understand scope of technical enabler work and assist in prioritization of this work along with new business functionality
  • Ability to gain and advance working knowledge of business domain
  • Support Product Manager in developing product vision, roadmaps and understanding ROI
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • May require up to 10% travel.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Any SAFe Certifications are preferred.

  • One or more Agile certifications are a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, teams, individual contributors)

  • Mortgage or Financial Technology industry experience highly preferred

  • Familiarity with Black Knight products and services a plus

  • Ability to interact with internal stakeholders and be the voice of the customer

  • Ability to understand, articulate and document user perspectives

  • Experience using Azure DevOps highly preferred

  • Mortgage Bankruptcy experience highly preferred

  • MSP experience highly preferred
